Lehighton physician joins St. Luke’s Health Network team

McGinley focuses on preventive and routine care as primary care physician
Lehighton physician Joseph McGinley, DO, has joined the primary care provider team at St. Luke’s University Health Network as St. Luke’s Lehighton Family Practice.

McGinley specializes in care for the entire family and treats infants to seniors as part of his medical practice. He focuses on preventive and routine care, as well as monitoring and treatment for acute and chronic health conditions. As an established local physician, McGinley will continue to provide care in the existing practice location at 856 Interchange Road, Lehighton.

“I am honored to care for my patients in Lehighton and the surrounding community,” McGinley said. “I am committed to providing the same quality and compassionate care to our community as a part of the St. Luke’s family of providers.”

McGinley earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and his Master of Biomedical Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his medical residencies at St. Luke’s Allentown Campus and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at DeSales University in Center Valley.

Wayne Memorial Behavioral Health director receives board certification
Michael C. Campbell, MD, Behavioral Health director for Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, has been awarded board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Already a dual board-certified physician, Dr. Campbell says seeking a third certification in addiction medicine was a commitment he felt strongly about as a means to most effectively treat his patients recovering from alcohol and opioid dependence, “I treat addiction every day. Through certification by ABAM, I can ensure coverage for lifesaving medications used to treat Substance Use Disorders.”
Established in 2007, the ABAM is “the nation’s first medical specialty board that certifies addiction medicine physicians across a range of medical specialties. The board sets standards for physician education, assesses physicians’ knowledge and requires and tracks life-long education.”
In addition to being triple board certified in psychiatry, family medicine and addiction medicine, Dr. Campbell is also a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University‘s Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed a joint residency program at West Virginia University Hospital. He treats adults and children at the Behavioral Health Center, Stourbridge Professional Complex, 600 Maple Str., Suite 6 in Honesdale. Wilkerson promoted to Wayne Bank Stroud Mall post
Cheryl Wilkerson has been named Wayne Bank assistant community office manager of the Stroud Mall branch.
Cheryl started her career with Wayne Bank 2007 as a part time Teller in the Stroud Mall Office. Cheryl has held several positions within that office and most recently held the title of Branch Specialist. Cheryl studied Business Administration at Ramapo College.

Primrose to speak at chamber’s Women in Business luncheon
Adrienne Primrose of Blissful Existence will speak at the Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce monthly Women in Business meeting Jan. 12 at noon at the Stroudsdsmoor’sTerraview. Nonchamber members pay $35 for the luncheon and members pay $20. Reservations are required by calling the chamber office at 570-421-4433.
