E-burg attorney gets state bar position

Vogt named Zone 5 Governor
East Stroudsburg attorney Charles J. Vogt, of the Law Offices of Charles J. Vogt LLC, began his term as Zone 5 Governor for the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates May 13.
A graduate of Dickinson College and Dickinson School of Law, Vogt now represents Association member lawyers in Monroe County, along with surrounding Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
As the managing body carrying out Pennsylvania Bar Association tasked with carrying out the association’s policies between House of Delegates meetings, the Board of Governors is responsible for performing all functions and duties of the association that are not specifically reserved to Association members and Delegates.
Vogt comments, “I look forward to the challenge of working with such a diverse group of lawyers throughout our zone.”
Vogt has served on Pennsylvania Bar Association committees including Membership Development, of which he has served as co-chair, Planning, Nominating, Professional Practice Standards and Specialization, Vogt also holds a position on the association Review and Certifying Board.
A past Monroe County Bar Association President, he continues actively participating in Monroe County Bar Association committees including the Strategic Planning Group, Fee Dispute and Building Committee.
A long history representing various community organizations, Vogt was part of the 2020 Countywide Task Force Executive Committee; Hamilton, Jackson, Pocono Regional Open Space Committee; Monroe County Planning Commission and is a current member of the Board of Directors for Brodhead Creek Regional Authority.

Wilkins Jr. appointed BH&G Business campus director
Thomas R. Wilkins Jr. has been appointed as director for the marketing, leasing and handling of the day to day operations for the rental of corporate meeting rooms, conference rooms, training rooms and short-term suite rentals at the BHG Business Campus.  Wilkins, a recent graduate of ESU with a bachelor’s degree in business management/marketing, has joined the Wilkins organization full time.
