Some business on Milford’s main drag, Broad Street, are changing.
After 26 years, Hare Hollow home décor and gift shop will close on Sunday.
Across the street, a new business, Coda’s Playground, has just opened. It is a pet supply store owned by Jim Davey and Jessica Davis. The store offers dog coats, leashes, toys, food and food bowls and anything to pamper pets, including guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, dogs and cats.
They intend to open a grooming shop upstairs. The store offers pet supplies, but will not sell pets.
However, two Shih Tzus will be in the store to greet shoppers on most days.
The location was the original spot for Fretta’s Italian Food Specialties. It later became a bakery and has been a cigarette store.
