Romance at the Pike Courthouse

S.W.A.K.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding Wednesday at the Pike County Courthouse where a couple from Rowland sealed their love with a marriage certificate and a ceremony officiated by Pike County Judge Gregory Chelak.
Emily McDevitt, 21, and Romulo DaSilva Jr., 24, shared a kiss on the courthouse steps after the ceremony. The couple has been together for three years. They were married under a large shade tree on the lawn in front of the judges chambers in Milford.
McDevitt works in the marketing department at the Lodge at Woodloch, and DaSilva is a student at Sussex Community College.
