Who is smiling more than a debating Joe Biden?
Students at Delaware Valley, who get a compliment each time they walk into school.
Banners now hang at the entrance of district schools proclaiming Delaware Valley to be “one of the best.” The banners were the idea of former school board member Jim Mooney who proposed in July that the school board start a marketing campaign to promote the success of the district’s academics. For the third year in a row, Delaware Valley High School was included in the Washington Post’s list of America’s Best High Schools this year, and was also named in US News & World Report’s edition of America’s Best High Schools.
The tagline “one of America’s best” could appear elsewhere such as on district letterhead. It is meant to promote school pride.
