Delaware Valley Elementery School news students in New York City

DVE-TV/News sixth graders Juliana Anderson, Kiley McKeon, Alana Meyer; filmmakers Ryan Balton and Laura Beachy; and DVE-TV/News sixth graders John Cirello, Daniel Krisanda, Hillel Hinton-Williams and Jeremy Burns, at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

Sixth grade reporters from the DVE-TV/News club at Delaware Valley Elementery School interviewed  filmmaker Ryan Balton, a 2007 Delaware Valley graduate, while visiting New York City on Oct. 25.

The students interviewed Balton and his partner Laura Beachy about their documentary film “We Were Quiet Once,” which shares stories from the people in Somerset County who witnessed the crash of Flight 93 on Sept. 11.

The DVE-TV/News students also interviewed former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s press secretary Lynn Rasic about Sept. 11.  Rasic is now the vice president of external affairs at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
