Pike small businesses and non-profits may be eligible for federal aid

U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) announced  last week that the U.S. Small Business Administration has made federal disaster loans available to small businesses in Pike, Susquehanna and Luzerne County following storms that began on May 1.

“These federal loans will help small businesses in the region rebuild following this storm,” Senator Casey said. “Getting these small businesses back up and running will help Northeastern Pennsylvania’s economy and the impacted businesses.

Applicants may apply online using the Electric Loan Application the administration’s  secure website

 Completed loan applications must be returned to the administration no later than June 2, 2014.
