There we go

Just a day after wondering just exactly what Penn State’s recruiting strategy for 2011 was, three more players confirmed that they have received written scholarship offers from the Nittany Lions. That now brings Penn State’s total of written offers out to a whopping six.

Recently offered were Andover, Mass., tight end Brian Miller, Paramus, N.J., defensive tackle Marquise Wright and Owings Mills, Md., offensive tackle Donovan Smith.Wright has been a long-time Penn State fan and Miller and Smith both play positions the Nits need to address.

With school back in session tomorrow at Penn State, and presumably the coaches back to work after a quiet offseason, perhaps this is the beginning of a flurry of offers from the Nits. We shall see.
