Only Night Owls Need Apply … er, Enter

Big news!

We got confirmation Wednesday from our friends at Pocono Community Theater that they’re supplying us with a pair of tickets to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I — and I’m giving those tickets away to one lucky reader.

let the contest begin!

And it’s not just tickets, it’s a movie package. Two tickets, two drinks, two small popcorns. The movie is only part of the deal too, since the PCT is having a whole Harry Potter night that starts at 10:30 p.m., including a Harry Potter costume and trivia contests. Then the movie starts at 12:01 a.m. Friday, and you can get in free.

In other words, it’s a Harry Potter fan’s dream night. The only catch is it’s the midnight show, so unless you plan on staying up until about 3 a.m., you probably shouldn’t enter.

Just e-mail me with your name, age, residence and daytime contact info and you’re entered. I’ll pull winners Thursday. If you e-mail me Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you may get an out of office reply, don’t worry, I’ll get your entry.

The usual PopRox contest rules apply:

–One entry per person, per e-mail address. If I get two entries from the same e-mail, I’m deleting them both.

–If you message PopRox on Facebook or Twitter as your entry, it counts twice. The last couple times, 80 percent of the entries have come through e-mail, but 40 percent of the random winners have come through Facebook or Twitter. Do the math. And no out of office replies!

–Deadline to enter is Wednesday at noon. I’ll be drawing shortly thereafter.

–You can’t have won anything from the Pocono Record within the last three months.

–Please know that you can go if you enter.
