Normally, I just cruise right through my Twitter feed, because I follow way too many people and I’m too lazy to set up groups to streamline my news viewing. It takes a lot to stop me in my tracks on Twitter.
Then I see something like this:
New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, and Boyz II Men touring together this summer: ‘Ladies, we’re coming for you’ ow.ly/h2dJC

Consider my tracks officially stopped. What the hell?!?!?!? Is this the type of society we want to be, one that will not just accept, but also encourage behavior that includes attending a concert of these people? If these “bands” are OK, what would it take to turn a potential ticket buyer away? Do they need to include Backstreet Boys? A Timberlanke-less N’Sync? Maybe All-4-One? Would it be more effective to put Anthrax on the tour to keep people away? Would Anthrax be willing to be included on the bill if it meant the end of boy bands forever? (I’d say yeah.)
Twitter is a cruel mistress sometimes.
