stuff ‘round the mill
If you want to become the best runner you can be, start now. Don’t spend the rest of your life wondering if you can do it.
-Priscilla Welch

Decisions decisions decisions!! Deciding to become a runner may not be easy but it can be VERY rewarding! I never ever intended to run for all my life when I started. I thought running was good for weight reduction if done long enough, but I couldn’t see myself ever having fun and continuing to run for a long time. Then I began running with Itze (Ed Krawitz) and he and many others I came to know along my running journey have changed my life forever! So many kind hearted encouraging people have been the fuel to keep my passion for running burning. Join us Sunday at the Morey school as we each honor Itze with our own words and deeds, and each in our own fashion!

FROM TOM – The Pocono Area Running Club needs volunteers for the first water stop of the Pocono Marathon on May 21. Over 900 runners pass the water stop in less than 10 minutes, so we like to have 15 to 20 volunteers. It’s a fun (and social) way to spend the morning. You get a great view of the race, and you’re finished by 8:15 am.

If you would like to volunteer, or you have any questions, please call me at (570)872-6473 or email Its okay to just show up, but I’d like to have an approximate head count.
Thank you,
Tom Burbage
