Pictures…. truly worth a thousand words

A lovely couple!

I try to blog every single week. It seems there is always something interesting I want to write about. Often it’s simply a little ‘report’ on the weddings I officiated over the past weekend. Sometimes I want to share thoughts, ideas and insights  about ceremonies and weddings in general. But sometimes it is the picture that is indeed worth a 1,000 words. There are many ways you can trim your budget for a wedding, if need be. But having a wonderful photographer is not one of them. Flowers, food, music, all of which I love, by the way, are here, enjoyed, and gone. But your photos will last forever. You need only to look at old family photos to understand this.

My dog Mojo gets in on the wedding photos at Harmony Gardens.

We are fortunate to have many wonderful photographers in our area. Today, with thanks to photographer Garth Woods and Salwa Photography, I’m sharing some images from a few recent weddings.

An intimate wedding for just the bride and groom.

I now pronounce you....

A lovely photo of the happy couple.
