1933: A new wagon

If smiles mean anything, the smile on the face of Arthur N. Rode means "Isn't this wagon a dandy?"

From The Morning Press:

During June 1933, Arthur N. Rode was presented with a Roamer coaster wagon he earned through a Morning Sun circulation promotion.

He was one of the first neighborhood children to receive a wagon, and he would not be the last. The promotion was open to all kids in Monroe County.

Jack Meister, circulation manager of The Morning Sun, made the presentation.
